Casey scores twice to lift Union to 3-0 win

CARSON, Calif. (AP) — Conor Casey scored two goals, his first of the season, as the Philadelphia Union beat Chivas USA 3-0 on Saturday night.

In the 66th minute, Casey buried a header off a cross from Maidana. Philadelphia added a third goal when Maidana scored from 15 yards out in the 77th minute.

Oswaldo Minda was sent off in the 84th minute after tackling Philadelphia’s Maurice Edu from behind.
