‘Brady Bunch’ actress dies of head trauma

WASHINGTON — Veteran TV actress Ann B. Davis, best known for her role as housekeeper Alice Nelson on “The Brady Bunch,” has died, according to news reports.

She was 88.

Davis fell and hit her head Saturday in her bathroom. According to CNN, who quoted Davis’ friend Bishop William Frey, she suffered a subdural hematoma and never regained consciousness.
