Toddler falls from moving car

WASHINGTON — A toddler fell out of a moving car Thursday night in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

According to Anne Arundel County Fire, the rear door of the vehicle opened while making a left-hand turn at 5 miles per hour.

Police say the 2-year-old was able to unbuckle his car seat and open the door.

Fire official say the boy fell out at Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Kempton Road and suffered road rash and abrasions to the legs, back and head.

The child was then transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital’s pediatric trauma center as a precautionary measure.
