Chevy Chase Man Dies After Electrocution – A man died and two others were injured in an apparent electrical accident Saturday in a Chevy Chase house. Three people in a home in the 200 block of Oxford Street were pulled from under their home. A man later died at the hospital. [WUSA9]

Post Endorses Berliner, Slams Trachtenberg – In its County Council endorsements, the Washington Post editorial board made the case for incumbent Roger Berliner in District 1 and all four at-large incumbents. The editorial board described Berliner as “vastly superior to Duchy Trachtenberg,” and wrote that Trachtenberg “was widely regarded as disorganized, unfocused, polarizing and inattentive to constituents.” [Washington Post]
