The Central American Football Union announced Tuesday the final of the Central American Cup will be played as a tripleheader along with the third- and fifth-place games. It will mark the first time the final is held outside of the region.

The tournament serves as qualifying for the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup and the 2016 Centennial Copa America.
