Bedford sawmill fire believed to be accidental

BEDFORD, Va. (AP) — Bedford County authorities say sparks or an electrical problem likely caused a fire that damaged a sawmill in April.

The Bedford County Fire Department tells media outlets that there are no indications that the fire was suspicious.

The April 23 fire at Central Virginia Pallet and Stakes Inc. caused about $75,000 in damage. Several hotspots smoldered for more than two weeks.
