PORTSMOUTH, Va. (AP) — A Coast Guard helicopter crew rescued three people after they got lost on Hog Island on Virginia’s Eastern Shore.

The Coast Guard said Monday that a woman, her daughter and another girl were on Hog Island on Sunday when they became disoriented.

A helicopter crew from Air Station Elizabeth City in North Carolina found the trio around 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
