Southwestern beats Stuttgart 48-7

STUTTGART, Germany (AP) — Brian Hicks had a 36-year touchdown run and threw 31- and 52-yard scoring passes to Hunter Hazen to help Southwestern University of Georgetown, Texas, beat the Stuttgart Scorpions 48-7 on Sunday in a Global Football game.

Zach Cole returned an interception 33 yards for a touchdown, and Taylor Fann returned a fumble 91 yards for another score for the Pirates.

In Vienna, the Austrian national team beat Claremont-Mudd-Scripps of California 21-14 in the Turkish Airlines Charity Bowl.
