Sounds of Rolling Thunder heard around DC

ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) — The sound of motorcycles can be heard around the nation’s capitol.

The annual Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally is back in Washington this Memorial Day weekend to honor military veterans and in particular members of the armed forces who are still missing in action.

Motorcyclists took part in the annual “Ride for Freedom” from the Pentagon to the National Mall earlier on Sunday. Speakers and musicians are scheduled to entertain the crowd Sunday afternoon at a stage near the Lincoln Memorial.
