Crash kills motorcyclist in Prince George’s County

OXON HILL, Md. (AP) — Police say a motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a SUV in Prince George’s County.

Prince George’s County police say it happened around 7 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Indian Head Highway and Wilson Bridge Drive. Police say a preliminary investigation indicates that the driver of the SUV failed to yield the right of way to the motorcyclist.

Police identified the motorcyclist as 42-year-old Phillip Walker of Accokeek. Walker was taken to a hospital but died of his injuries.
