4 siblings arrested after DC bank robbery

WASHINGTON (AP) — Police in Washington say they’ve arrested four siblings in connection with a bank robbery in the city.

Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the Colombo Bank in the 1300 block of 9th Street NW on May 15 for a report of a robbery. Police say when they arrived, bank employees told them three people had entered the bank and demanded money. They were given an undisclosed amount of money and fled.

Police say that on Thursday and Friday they arrested: 20-year-old Allante Alexander, 25-year-old Allesha Alexander, 20-year-old Alex Alexander and 24-year-old Alvin Alexander III. All four Washington residents were charged with robbery. Police spokesman Araz Alali says they are siblings.

It was not clear if any of them have attorneys.
