Braun leaves game because of tightness in side

ATLANTA (AP) — Milwaukee’s Ryan Braun left the game against the Atlanta Braves because of tightness in his right side Thursday night.

The Brewers’ slugger grounded out in his first two at-bats. He was replaced in the fifth by pinch-hitter Elian Herrera, who stayed in the game in right field.

Braun is hitting .289 with seven homers and 19 RBIs.
