UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) — The Maryland Democratic Party is holding its annual fundraising gala.

The party says the event Wednesday in Upper Marlboro is expected to draw more than 700 of the state’s Democrats, including many of the state’s top officials.

New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan is scheduled to be a special guest and keynote speaker.
