Will former Sen. Jim Webb run for president?

WASHINGTON — Could a former senator from Virginia be eyeing a run for the White House?

In an interview Monday on NPR’s “The Diane Rehm Show,” former Sen. Jim Webb, a Democrat, did not say “yes” nor did he say “no,” but he did says he’s “rejoining the debate.”

Webb said his wife were trying to decide what to do next.

There was one thing he did say definitively.

Webb said he would not be interested in being vice president. He didn’t think that would be a good fit for him.
