Titans add five players, waive FB Quinn Johnson

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with five undrafted free agents who participated in a rookie minicamp last weekend.

Tennessee’s list of newcomers includes Arkansas wide receiver Julian Horton, TCU running back Waymon James, American International offensive lineman Viondy Merisma, South Dakota State cornerback Winston Wright and Miami outside linebacker David Gilbert. Their additions were announced Monday in a team release.

The Titans also announced they had waived fullback Quinn Johnson, cornerback George Baker, linebacker Jamal Merrell and wide receiver Eric Ward. Johnson made eight starts for the Titans in 2012 and played in four games last season.
