Patriots to train with Redskins for 3 days

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are coming to Richmond to hold joint practices with the Washington Redskins this summer.

The Redskins announced the sessions will take place from Aug. 4-5 and be free and open to the public. They will also lead up to the teams’ meeting in their preseason opener on Aug. 7 at FedEx Field.

The joint sessions will allow both teams to better assess their progress in camp because they would be scrimmaging against each other.

The Redskins moved their training camp to Richmond last season.
