Construction worker killed when equipment tips over

ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) — Emergency officials say a worker was killed when a piece of equipment tipped over at construction site in Arlington.

Capt. Tiffanye Wesley of the Arlington County Fire Department tells The Washington Post that an excavator tipped over and killed a man, possibly the operators, about 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Fire officials say the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are investigating the accident.
