AFI DOCS Returns To The DC Area This June

Returning for it’s 12th straight year this June, AFI DOCS is the only documentary film festival in the U.S. dedicated to screenings and events that connect audiences, filmmakers and policy leaders in the seat of our nation’s government.

The five-day event, which celebrates the art form of documentary film, takes place in landmark venues in Washington, DC and the world-class AFI Silver Theatre, the independent film hub of the metropolitan region.

At AFI DOCS, attendees will:

  • Watch documentary films
  • Hear from filmmakers
  • Listen to exclusive panels
  • Engage with documentary film enthusiasts
