Officials: 17 dogs seized from tractor-trailer cab

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Animal control officers say 17 dogs have been seized from the cab of a tractor-trailer in Philadelphia.

WPVI-TV (http://6abc.cm/1nVJ37M ) reports the animals were taken Saturday after police pulled the truck over because of a domestic dispute involving a man and woman inside. Most of the dogs appear to be pit bulls.

No charges have been filed. Officials say the dogs are being cared for by animal control.
