Frederick serves up beer, bacon and music this weekend

WASHINGTON — A weekend festival in Frederick is going to feed all your pork, hops and tunes needs.

Imagine tables of peppered bacon, maple bacon, smoked bacon and apple bacon. In all, over two tons of bacon are up for grabs at the all-you-can-eat bacon bar.

To wash it down, it’s beer – 30 all weekend long with 100 varieties from over 40 breweries to sample.

You can enjoy them all while listening to 10 different bands playing at the Beer, Bacon and Music Festival. It’s being held at the Frederick Fairgrounds. Tickets start at $45, if you want to sample the beers.

If you are the designated driver and just want to pig out on bacon and skip the cerveza, tickets start at $25.
