TOWSON, Md. (AP) — Crews are repairing a Maryland television station building damaged when a man slammed a stolen truck into it.

Carolyn Micheli, vice president of corporate communications for the E.W. Scripps Co., which owns WMAR-TV said some damage was fixed by Wednesday, a day after the incident.

Micheli says two sister stations sent about half a dozen people to help produce the news. While Tuesday’s 5 p.m. broadcast was remotely transmitted from Arizona, employees were back in the studio for the 10 p.m. broadcast.

The truck was removed and a temporary door is being guarded by 24-hour security. Micheli says crews also fixed doors broken in by SWAT teams and removed rubber bullets embedded in walls.

Officials have charged 28-year-old Vladimir Baptiste of Parkville with second-degree attempted murder in the incident.
