Arizona Cardinals sign LB Clayton, S Walters

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — The Arizona Cardinals have signed a pair of defensive players to one-year contracts.

The teams announced the deals with linebacker Keenan Clayton and safety Anthony Walters, moves that add some experience to the team’s depth at those positions and especially on special teams.

Clayton has played in 36 games over three seasons with Philadelphia and Oakland.

Clayton has 29 career tackles on defense, four passes defensed, a forced fumble and 26 special teams tackles.

Walters appeared in 13 games for Chicago last season and had 10 special teams tackles.
