METAIRIE, La. (AP) — The Saints have wrapped up the final rounds of the NFL draft by adding three players on defense and one offensive lineman with their final pick.

The Saints drafted California linebacker Khairi Fortt in the fourth round, followed by Alabama safety Vinnie Sunseri and Florida outside linebacker Ronald Powell in the fifth round.

New Orleans, which did not have a seventh-round choice, closed its draft by taking Kansas State right tackle Tavon Rooks in the sixth round.

They join Oregon State receiver Brandin Cooks and Nebraska cornerback Stanley Jean-Baptiste, who were the Saints’ top two picks.

The Saints did not draft anyone to compete for their open starting center job, but coach Sean Payton says there weren’t any good fits when New Orleans was making its selections.
