Body found in Anacostia River in DC

WASHINGTON (AP) — A man’s body has been found in the Anacostia River in Washington.

The Metropolitan Police Department tells WNEW (http://cbsloc.al/1nzWmYQ ) that the discovery was reported at 1:49 p.m. Saturday.

The body was found near the 300 block of Water Street in Southeast Washington.

Police are investigating.
