Wife and stepson victims in District Heights, Md., shooting

WASHINGTON –Prince George’s County Police say they were investigating a double shooting involving a wife and stepson in District Heights Friday night.

According to a police spokesman, a man has been arrested after allegedly shooting his wife and stepson at a residence on Sweetwater Court near Silver Hill Road.

The incident happened around 6 p.m.

Police believe it was the result of a domestic dispute, but there were no other details, including the name of the suspect or victims, available as of late Friday. The victims were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
