Sarcoma Foundation of America

As the nation’s premiere sarcoma patient advocacy and research organization, the Sarcoma Foundation of America has recently launched the first of its kind research initiative called Vision 2020. V2020 is an innovative research program in sarcoma sub-type profiling and bioinformatics development. It is a collaborative effort that joins academic, for-profit and non-profit partners and will result in personalized therapy and the potential for commercially attractive opportunities to “jumpstart” your sarcoma pipeline. The initial focus of this effort is to build an integrated, interdisciplinary research network with the depth of expertise and breadth of research capabilities and capital necessary to rapidly identify rational opportunities for personalized therapy using existing methods and agents. At the same time, V2020 will look to “de-risk” new diagnostic and drug development programs for sarcoma.
