MobileMed provides primary and preventive healthcare to 5,500 low-income, uninsured individuals or those enrolled in Medicaid through over 16,000 encounters annually. Serving the most vulnerable since 1968, MobileMed is known for its high-quality, culturally sensitive care at nine clinics accessible by public transit throughout Montgomery County. Staff and volunteer teams, and collaborations with community-based organizations and hospital partners, make it possible for MobileMed to provide comprehensive, low-cost care in fixed-site clinics and on mobile vans. MobileMed schedules patient appointments as well as walk-in capacity, where we triage patients based on medical urgency.
