Friday at the Verizon Center, Cher is scheduled to perform.

Also scheduled for Saturday night, hip-hop legend Grandmaster Flash performs at U Street Music Hall.

In 2007, Flash was the first hip-hop artist to be inducted into the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame.
