UPDATE 1:22 a.m. 3/31/2014: According to the Laurel Police Department Facebook page, Cauley turned himself in to the Laurel police at 12:30 p.m. Sunday and is being charged with first-degree murder.

EARLIER: WASHINGTON — A man is dead from a hit and run that resulted from an argument in Laurel, Md. The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. Friday night on South Arbory Lane near Van Dusen Road.

Two men were arguing when one man struck the other with the front of his SUV. Twenty-four-year-old Matthew Cavin was then thrown under a parked vehicle and died, according to the Laurel Police Department.

Public assistance is needed in locating the driver of the SUV, Antoine Cauley, 27. He is described as 5 feet, 9 inches in height and weighing 200 pounds. There is a warrant out for his arrest and he might have a woman with him.

Cauley’s SUV is described as white or champagne-colored and is possibly a Ford Expedition with front-end damage.
