MCFRS (file photo)At about 10 p.m. on Tuesday, calls for vehicle wrecks on icy roads started trickling in.

By the end of the night, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services responded to about a dozen incidents, including at least two in North Bethesda, spokesperson Pete Piringer said.

A wreck at Rockville Pike and Montrose Parkway caused multiple injuries. Another nearby at Rockville Pike and Marinelli Road required three ambulances to transport injured motorists.

Piringer said all the injuries were not serious.

There were also crashes in Aspen Hill, an eight-car incident around an elevated highway overpass in Gaithersburg  and a vehicle into a home in Olney that was likely weather-related. Those injuries were also not serious.

Piringer reminded motorists to watch out for icy conditions after Tuesday’s snow, especially on bridges, ramps and elevated surfaces.
