Could you unplug for a day?

WASHINGTON — Could you go an entire day without any electronic devices?

March 7 is the National Day of Unplugging. It was launched five years ago by the national nonprofit group Reboot.

Participants are asked to put away their smartphones, tablets, laptops and other devices from sunset March 7 until sunset March 8.

CNN reports the time should instead be used for reflecting, appreciating nature, reconnecting with family or getting a good night’s sleep.
