Dozens of protesters arrested outside White House

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Park Police arrested 32 protesters Monday afternoon just north of the White House grounds.

The protesters were immigrant rights supporters who were sounding off against deportations. The police say the protesters were “blocking passage” of the stretch of Pennsylvania Avenue where vehicles are restricted.
