WASHINGTON — Storm delays aside, these are the kinds of work days most employers love. It seems employees are more productive when the weather is cold.

It’s simple: In the winter, people spend less time at work thinking about all the things we would rather be doing outside.

According to Philly.com, researchers at the Harvard Business School took a look at numbers on worker productivity and weather and found a definite link.

They say workers focus better when it’s cold and nasty, and they complete tasks more efficiently.

When it is sunny and clear, just the opposite occurs. People are not nearly as productive.
