Man in hospital after College Park hit and run

WASHINGTON – The second hit-and-run accident in College Park in a week left a man in the hospital on Friday morning.

Prince George’s County police say that a pedestrian was hit on Route 1 at Cherry Hill Road at about 2 a.m. They say the man is in serious but stable condition at a nearby hospital.

Last Friday, a University of Maryland student was killed by a hit-and-run driver. The driver in that accident turned himself in to police.
