WASHINGTON – If you have plans outside Saturday, you won’t have to worry about weather – other than wearing a coat. ABC7 meteorologists say the day will be a little breezy with highs expected in the mid 30s under partly sunny skies.

Saturday night into Sunday morning could bring a little snow, but again accumulation, if any, should be minimal. The clouds should clear up by Sunday afternoon and the relatively warm – lower 40s – temps will return.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day will be the warmest of the holiday weekend, ABC7 meteorologists say, with temps in the high 40s. That evening, dress warmly as lows drop into the mid 20s.

Next week, the cold is expected to return – although not nearly as bad as earlier this year.

Tuesday is forecast to be the coldest with temperatures between 15 and 30. Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be in the sub-30 range. Mostly or partly sunny skies are expected on and after the holiday, though, so there won’t be any rain on your parade.
