In France, a political protest gets smelly

WASHINGTON – A man in Paris evidently thinks French president Francois Hollande stinks.

He made his intentions clear on Thursday, as he dumped tons of horse manure from a truck in front of the French Parliament building.

NBC News reports that the man was arrested before he dumped the whole load, but there was enough to make a steaming mess on the street.

A message on the truck read “Out with Hollande and the entire political class. Long live the Sixth Republic.”

Hollande has the lowest popularity ratings of any modern French leader, according to NBC, and has been accused of having an affair with an actress.
