Fortune Magazine’s 2013 list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For once again puts Google at the top of the list, followed by SAS, The Boston Consulting Group, Edward Jones and Quicken Loans Inc.
Six companies based in the Washington region make the list, up from five last year.
Ranking highest on this year’s list is Marriott International Inc., at No. 57, up from 64 last year.
“From management to hourly workers, Marriott employees report feeling valued, cared for and respected,” Fortune says.
Candy empire Mars Inc. also moved up the list, ranking No 76 this year, up from 95 last year.
