Silver Spring house fire injures 3

WASHINGTON – A fire ripped through a home on Narrows Court in Silver Spring, Md., Christmas morning.

Three people, including one person inside the home and two firefighters, suffered minor burns.

Montgomery County Fire officials say the blaze caused at least $750,000 worth of damage. They say the fire started accidentally when people inside the home improperly used flammable liquids to start a fireplace.
