Person stabbed near Twinbrook Metro

WASHINGTON – A person was stabbed Thursday morning near the Twinbrook Metro station, according to Metro.

The victim is being taken to the hospital, but there’s no word on the person’s condition.

A Metro spokesman said officials are unsure whether the stabbing took place at the station or outside of it, but an investigation was underway.

The stabbing occurred around 10 a.m.

Police from Rockville and Montgomery County are helping with the investigation.
