Pepco outage map

About 2,000 Bethesda Pepco customers are without power this afternoon after a downed tree hit power lines near Bradley Boulevard and Burdette Road.

Pepco’s outage map reports 1,853 customers are without power in the 20817 zip code where the tree fell.

Councilmember Roger Berliner (D-Bethesda) tweeted that Pepco told him a tree hit spans on two areas carrying feeder wires and that restoration time is uncertain. Pepco’s outage map says estimated restoration is today at 5 p.m.

The Town of Chevy Chase reported a downed tree that took down some power lines in the 4000 block of Underwood Street. The downed lines don’t appear to have caused significant any power outages.
