U.S. golf team gets goofy after Cup win

WASHINGTON – And you thought golf didn’t require a helmet.

Courtesy of Yahoo’s Devil Ball blog and Amanda Dufner’s Instagram account, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jason Dufner, Keegan Bradley and captain Fred Couples apparently had themselves a good time during their celebration after beating the international team for the Presidents Cup Sunday at Muirfield Village.

Woods looks more relaxed than he’s been in years, but Bradley’s treatment of the Cup is particularly noteworthy, similar to some of the ways hockey players have celebrated Stanley Cup championships. (What Mickelson’s up to is anyone’s guess. Like they say – there’s no such thing as style points.)

Sure, they may be serious professionals who rank among the top 15 golfers in the world, but the U.S. team and their captain looked like a bunch of kids after a weekend baseball tournament.
