11 injured in 6-car crash on Md. highway

WASHINGTON – Maryland State Police say 11 people are injured after a multi-car crash and one vehicle fire on Crain Highway in Prince George’s County.

Prince George’s County Police say six cars were involved in the crash Sunday afternoon in Brandywine, Md., injuring 11.

One victim, a male in his 30s, has life-threatening injuries, WTTG FOX 5 reports.

Two others are in trauma care.

Route 301 lanes were closed for several hours as a crash investigation continued into Sunday evening.

Prince George’s County Police say three fire engines, a rescue engine, five ambulance, three medic units and at least one Medevac responded to the scene.
