Crash causes delays on I-495 Beltway Inner Loop

WASHINGTON – A crash caused delays for commuters on I-495 Capital Beltway Inner Loop after the Springfield Interchange in Virginia Wednesday morning.

The crash happened in the center lanes of I-495 Beltway Inner Loop after the Springfield Interchange, just past Robinson Terminal at about 8:30 a.m. Emergency crews were on scene and blocked the roadway and expressway lanes.

All lanes later reopened to traffic.
