Woman runs into traffic, struck by car in Prince George’s Co.

WASHINGTON – A woman is in critical condition after she was struck by a car in Prince George’s County Sunday afternoon.

The woman ran barefoot and jumped on top of the cars traveling on the southbound lanes of Branch Avenue, Prince George’s County Police tell WTOP. While on top of one car, the driver braked, sending the woman into traffic traveling northbound.

She was then hit by a car.

Police believe she may have been high on PCP, otherwise known as phencyclidine.
