Check out the first Capital Bikeshare station in Bethesda, installed this morning by the Elm Street Garage at Bethesda Row.

A second and third station will be installed later today at Norfolk and Cordell Avenues and Norfolk and Fairmont Avenues in Woodmont Triangle.

There still isn’t an official open date for the system, which will ultimately bring 15 stations to downtown Bethesda, Friendship Heights and the Medical Center Metro.

The county hopes to have some of the stations opened by Sept. 21, the official last day of summer.
