21-year-old woman charged with kidnapping an infant

UPDATE 11:50 a.m. EDT 09/09/13:

A 21-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with kidnapping an infant last week, officials say.

Jessica Walls of Bowie, Md., was taken into custody Sunday.

The 8-month-old boy, Jh’Mere Holloway, was found in good condition over the weekend.

WASHINGTON – The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 8-month-old boy and the woman who they believe may have abducted him.

Jessica Walls, 21, and Jh’mere Narjae Holloway, eight months, were last seen on Sept. 1 in the 1400 block of Taylor Street, Northwest. She was taking care of Holloway.

The police describe Walls as black with a light complexion; 5 feet, 6 inches tall; 220 to 240 pounds; with short blonde hair. They say she has “Jessica” tattooed on her left arm, red paws tattooed on her chest and a “G” tattooed on one hand.
