Soldier experiences birth of daughter via Skype

WASHINGTON – Thanks to technology, one soldier was able to experience the miracle of birth, half way around the world.

Army Staff Sgt. Guy Simon II watched the birth of his third daughter via Skype Thursday morning, reports KFDM in Beaumont, Texas.

Simon is currently serving in South Korea.

The family welcomed Hayleigh Faith Simon, who weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces.
