ZERO Prostate Cancer Challenge

The ZERO Prostate Cancer Challenge was created by Chesapeake Urology Associates and is a group of fundraisers to benefit ZERO- The End of Prostate Cancer

More than 82 cents on every dollar collected benefits research, screening, awareness and advocacy activities. A large portion of the funds also stay directly in the area to help educate men about this deadly disease and to provide free screenings to catch this cancer at an early stage, especially among African-American men, who have a 60 percent greater risk. Donations also provide funding for a research scholar through the American Urological Association.

Join us in supporting the 2013 10K, 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Towson University, Johnny Unitas Stadium.

The race is part of the ZERO Prostate Cancer Challenge-the premier men’s health event series in America. Presented by Chesapeake Urology, this tight-knit community activity brings together athletes, doctors, cancer survivors and those who care about ending prostate cancer. The goal is to find a cure for prostate cancer by funding research and providing free testing and education.
