Landon School Wins Case Against Former Employee — Former employee Timothy Harrison sued the all-boys private school for $2 million, claiming he was fired because he accused two supervisors of discriminatory practices against school laborers. Berliner Hopes To Have Bus Rapid Transit Before Full Council By End Of The Year — Councilmember Roger Berliner said he moved back the Council’s public hearing on the Bus Rapid Transit Master Plan from Sept. 10 to Sept. 24. The Council has since added a second day of testimony on Sept. 26. Berliner also said he’d like to get the Master Plan out of his Transportation Committee and to the full Council by the end of the year and that the county must “redefine our transportation metrics from how many cars get through a particular intersection to ‘person-throughput.’” [Potomac Almanac]
