Anthony Weiner sexting pal plugs hookup app

WASHINGTON – One of the women made temporarily famous by sexting with former congressman Anthony Weiner is cashing in on her 15 minutes.

Sydney Leathers, 23, is promoting a new mobile app that helps users have casual sex.

The Indiana native has been tweeting about iHookup, which facilitates sexual encounters with nearby fellow users.

In both the iTunes App and Google Play stores, the description for iHookup reads: “Life is short…why not just “Hookup,” you know you want to!”

Users can attach videos and photos to their profiles and chat requests. Those who want “Booty Calls” can enable a GPS-based map to find fellow users nearby.

The app costs $0.99 to purchase and requires user fees ranging from $14.99 a month to $69.99 per year.

TMZ reports Leathers signed “a low six-figure endorsement deal” with the app.

Late last week, Leathers released a porn movie, entitled “Weiner and Me,” that includes an actor in a shirt and tie portraying the New York politician.
